In the morning Helen will be showing us several different ways to use your Gelli Plates to make colourful fabrics and papers including:
- Subtraction techniques
- Addition techniques
- Multi-coloured stencil prints
- Easy registration multi layered prints
- Prints plus stamps
- Patterned motifs
- Prints with markers
In the afternoon she'll show us a different technique with block ink where you can print fine lines and transfer images. Please note that the block ink takes several hours to be completely dry. You may want to bring some plastic to separate your fabrics while you take them home.
These methods can produce lots of prints in a short time, bring lots of fabric and paper if you are a fast worker.
